About the Author/Owner:
| Immanda M. Bellm currently teaches 7th grade pre-algebra in Waconia, MN;
a small suburban school district west of the Twin Cities. She completed
her Masters degree in Elementary Education, with a Mathematics
specialty in grades 5-8, through the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
Campus. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Spanish and is
dual-licensed in Spanish Education K-8. She has previously taught at the
middle school level in the areas of Spanish, Math Essentials and
Algebra 1.
Current interests include Differentiated Instruction,
Content-Based Bilingual Education, technology applications in the
classroom, and discovering appropriate challenges for Gifted &
Talented students. Immanda lives in Minnesota with her husband and
two young boys, where she enjoys reading, long walks, gardening, and
finding new ways to incorporate buffalo sauce into culinary
creations.
